The THUMBNAIL PROGRAM is included with our software package at no extra charge. This program works the same as the regular Monu-Cad Lite but shows you pictures 6 at a time, instead of file names. The thumbnail program needs ram memory and processing speed to perform fast. A Pentium 2 with a 400 Mhz processor and 256 Mb of ram or higher works real good.

With Thumbnails, we have set up your files to separate the different groups of component (mcc) and drawing (mcd) files. This separation will speed up selection. For instance, if you want an animal placed into the drawing you would only search the animal folder.

To create a new folder, do it right in the thumbnail file selector. Do NOT use Windows Explorer. When in a drawing, type CP (component place) and make sure you have the MCC folder highlited. Click on the "make new folder" button and follow the steps it gives you.

Next drag and drop the components you wish to have in that folder. You may make as many folders as you wish. 

Once you find the component or drawing you want, you double click the "picture" and it will be on the screen. Thumbnails is a good program and will impress both you and your customers.
